Burning Questions – compelling content or the lazy man’s blog post?

Welcome to the introduction to what promises to be either the one of the smartest or the dumbest ideas I’ve had since starting this blog.

Since I’ve been posting at nitch.ca I’ve often found myself coming up with thoughts and ideas that I find interesting to think about but, to be honest, would make pretty terrible blog posts. So I’m throwing myself a bone here to bring more content to you, the loyal readers. Although, to be fair, this editorial brainwave is not something I can take credit for myself. I have to give respect to the good folks at Fast Company and their Big Idea of the Day – a single line of text, posted daily to their homepage which always seems to be popular with the kids.
Any time you see a “Burning Questions” post, I’ll be throwing out a question as a headline and hoping that somebody out there might have something to say. Heck, I might even post inflammatory and controversial comments myself under aliases just to spark a little conversation in the hopes you’ll get involved – I’m just that sneaky.
So as the headline alludes to, the first of these ‘Burning Questions’ is a bit of a lame duck as I’m wondering…. will my “Burning Questions” feature result in even more compelling content being produced on a semi-regular basis here at the nitch blog, or will I be perceived as a lazy blogger causing the whole idea to flop???

As with most things, only time will tell…
